We are totally enjoying the baton twirling videos from the 80′s that we’ve come across! This is Corrie Jordan’s winning performance in the 3 baton event at the 1983 USTA Baton Twirling National Championships in Denver, Colorado.

Corrie executes some wonderfully complicated tricks and has a lot going on under that 3rd baton that’s up in the air. She is just 15 years old in this video.

Corrie won the 3 Baton USTA national title 3 times: in 1983, 1984, and 1987. The IJA (International Jugglers’ Association) also had the pleasure of having her perform in the public show at their 1987 national convention in Akron, Ohio. Corrie was a student of Ginnette Groome.
