    Do to the area i live there is not alot of majorettes so El dorado High School Band Board
    placerville Ca. Not the band teacher just
    member said they where old fashion and not wanted and colleges do not uses them yet there routine and costumes are up to date so I am looking for support

      My daughter had the same problem at her high school. The director of the marching band told her that he didn’t want a majorette, and I asked for a consultation with him privately. My daughter showed him the routine that won her Miss Majorette of the South East 1996, and he totally changed his mind. She was her high school majorette for 4 years in Athens, GA, and went on to be Feature twirler for the Pride of the South Marching Band at Ole Miss. Keep talking to him, and insist he take a look at your routine.
