This video of Jennifer Marcus has become a bit of a classic! Jennifer is an extremely well rounded baton twirling competitor, and this video displays a wide variety of intricate and masterful 3 baton moves.

You’ll see there is usually 1 baton up in the air (and sometimes 3 up!), with interesting and skillful handling, releases, catches, and body work going on below. Watch for the beautiful double long arm rolls at 0:56. This difficult roll is one of Jennifer’s signatures.

This was an exhibition performance at the World Baton Twirling Federation 2001 Championships in Villebon/Paris, France. 3 baton was added as a separate competitive event starting in 2005 and is now a part of WBTF’s International Cup competitions.

Jennifer Marcus currently hails from Orlando, Florida, where she pursues both a twirling and writing career.
