As a twirler who is also fascinated with all kinds of objects tossed into the air, I’ve been involved in juggling festivals for a number of years. Barry Friedman is one half of a wonderful professional juggling act, The Raspyni Brothers. I’ve gotten to know him some and he’s a great person, a loving family guy, and a terrific entertainer.

Barry had an unfortunate mountain bike accident in 2007 and he sustained a compound fracture of his clavicle.  As you can imagine, this is a pretty big deal for a professional juggler!  I was delighted to learn that he’s getting back in the bike saddle to participate in a 45-mile fund raising ride for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Nevada County.
